So, I was watching the new episode of Family Guy on Fox last night... Why do I mention that it was on Fox? Becasue I think that's important... i normally watch family guy on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim. On CN, they only take one commercial break during the show, which is surrounded by those infamous black bumps... Whereas on Fox, they take breaks every four of five minutes, with no seperator between the show and the ads.
Now, I will say I really enjoying watching Family guy on CN. But it just loses something on Fox. It takes me back to my first semester of college sitting in Intro to Mass Media... learning about the medium is the message. There's no doubt that Jill Swenson was full of crap in most of what she taught, but I think there is some truth to the fact that the show's impact depends on how how it is presented... I don't think that it was that the new episode wasn't as funny, I think it was just out of place on Fox. So I'll wait however long it takes for CN to get them, and see if it has any more of an impact on me.
Though, I think Stewie was a little too "active" in this new episode...
