The Best Dream Ever

Wow. I had the weirdest fucking dream last night, and I feel I should share it with all of you. At least, the chunks that I recall. It came in three parts, starting with the most destitute and life-threatening, then the most evil, then happy with dark, reverse-foreboding undertones. The dream centered around this huge complex that me and a bunch of people I know were trapped. If you reversed all the parts it would make sense, but for some reason I dreamt the story in reverse.

In the first part, there were only ten of us, and it was assumed that a lot of other people had died from various ways. We were stuck in one room that was this sort of underground lake-place, but high above was a glass ceiling covered with weeds and plants. We had this plan to access this "safety pod" that was apparently deep in the lake, and it would take one of us at a time to the surface. However, the issue was that you had to traverse an underground tunnel, and we didn't know where the tunnel was, or which tunnel it was (it was assumed there were a lot). Also, as I brought up in the dream, we didn't know how to turn the "safety pod" on, nor how to send it back for others. Regardless, we all dibsed who would go first, second, ect. (I was third). But then we realized what a stupid idea it was, and we resolved to "gain access to the supercomputer and escape". That junk ended with us cheering and being slightly happier.

The second part was stranger, and a bit more dramatic. We were in that room again, but the lake was gone and replaced with a bunch of tall pillars covered with plants. The room had an evil, dark green-ish glow to it, and there were about 30 kids crammed in the room. A few older people holding spears that were clearly electrified stood around us, ready to zap us if anything went wrong. Then, an elevator door opened to the side, and a few bad guys and a group of people that were (we knew this in the dream) parents of many of the children. One of the children in particular was very dear to me, and when she was to be "collected", I tried to grab her and hold her back. Her mom was calling to her. But, before I could pull her to safety, I was promptly zapped a thousand times and fell to the floor in agony. I woke up.

I fell back asleep. This time, we were outside the complex, and it rested against this mountain and huge lake. There were hundreds, if not thousands, of kids around, and it was assumed that it was some manner of summer camp, and all the parents were there for a day of fun to wish their kids well before the assumably long time they were at camp. However, all was not seemingly well. A group of the younger kids (my age) had been pushed out of the complex where they were supposed to have slept, and were forced to make a camp on the edge of the lake. Oddly, the parents didn't seem to notice. There was a bit of tussle with some older kids between a couple kids and I, and we, in a bit of irony, defied them and said they couldn't "control us". It was around this point I woke up.

It was arguably the best dream I've ever had, and I felt I needed to share it.

Ta!
