Marscon was once again the place to be for Dementia music and 13th floor parties and mayhem. We got to be part of the 'Table Brigade' or as I like to call ourselves, Merch Monkeys.
All of the Dementia artists pooled all of their merch onto two tables so they could concentrate on performing and we could concentrate on selling their stuff. It seemed to work out fine, even if we hardly saw any of the concerts. We could hear most of them just fine tho :)
Toyboat had a show at Beth Kinderman's room party on Saturday at 12 midnite. I wanted to thank her for inviting us to play, and hopefully she didn't get any complaints about the noise - I mean our music. We had an enthusiastic crowd and our energy level was pretty darn good. I'm getting less freaked out each time we do this and this show I was almost calm b4 we started. I would have liked to play better than I did, I thought I sucked, but Eric said I played fine. I guess I'm just not ever satisfied with how I sound, cause I know I can sound better.
Sunday we missed all of the concerts, Smackdown, etc because our flight out at 6:35pm got cancelled, so we had to run over to the airport to get on the only flight left that had two open seats. And of course we just sat there waiting for a flight that didn't get us home until we would have got home on our regular flight. Grrrrr!!!
Oh, and The Nick Atoms played!!! Rock!!! Already looking forward to the next Marscon. Hopefully Toyboat can play there again next year :)
