Christmas was quiet, as it should be. New Year was with Dixon, how it shouldn't be. Twas my own fault for wanting to see my friends over New Year so thats excusable for the three or four times over Christmas someone had the "clever" idea of not telling Norris he was gonna be there, people deserved smacks. Luckily I'm not violent! :-P Parge got me out after New Year to Ajay's who I haven't seen since then. *hint*
eBay is stealing all my money! Various Queen paraphenalia has been bought and due to arrive to part me from my money. The money from my job of course which I didn't have when I last updated... at least I think.
****QUEEN + PAUL RODGERS ARE @ THE METRO ARENA MAY 3RD. BUYING TICKETS WEDNESDAY**** (for those who didn't get a very similar text yesterday). If you wanna come, let me know and I'll most likely hug you... or platonically shake your hand... yes... that last one.
Well the first film of my uni career was screened on Thursday and not without chaos (as usual)
8:10: see Matt at the Metro station. Have to turn off "We Will Rock You" on my MP3 player but it was nice to see uni people again so I don't mind.
8:35: Arrive at uni, wander around finding people for 15 minutes.
8:55: Syd (not a girl! is a cameraman) rings me. "Is the screening today?" He's on his way.
9:00: Go in. Cassandra's already there. I text Dude to check she's nearly here (if you can guess the next bit you get a prize)
9:08: "4 what? I didnt think we had 2 b in till fri!" (panic begins)
9:14: "Shit. Will u save me a seat. Im on my way! (from work!!!!!) U reckon I can walk in late?" Great huh?
9:15 films start.
10:20 Dude walks in. (luckily our film hasn't been shown yet)
10:30 Break. Cassandra says "Now if anyone asks about the colour, we changed it to make it look more "realistic"..." I can only stomach a croissant!
11:10 Our film gets shown. To her credit Cassandra (who edited it) saved our bacon. That film would've well and truly sucked without some quality editing. Not through fault of my own of course :-D
12:00 films finish. I'm ready to slit my wrists some are so bad. Some were excellent though. Cassandra gives me a lift home so I don't fall asleep before my stop on the metro (I'd only had 2 1/2 hours sleep and she lives in Willington so it was all good)
The film's called Exhibit A- appropriately titled as they'll use it as evidence as to why I killed Dude! But it's done now and it's good. I should get a copy to show people in the next few weeks. (probably this week)
Bought Father Ted box set. Making my way through it now as well as the entire Queen back catalogue which I now own on CD and with that (as if you care) the Top Ten Queen songs ever...
