poor Nick
Having been on the radio this morning and having an "its complicated" relational position on the media and public service.
I think that HRH the Queen has negotiated her dealings with Nick Griffin MEP with diplomacy and grace.
I am impressed with her handling of a difficult situation which has presented several dilemmas.
While I may disagree with a lot of what Nick may stand for with the BNP I defend his right to political expression and freedom, although I reserve the right to campaign against them for public office.
I think the democratic mandate that an MEP receives means that the Palace had taken the right course to date and I think the Palace comes out of this untarnished.
Peter T getting in on the act leaves me thinking Peter and Nick are showing a touch of glory hound behaviour *sigh* running to the media seems to be more about gaining personal exposure as their public persona's is certainly more of the media's focus than their cause/message.
But poor Nick won't get to taste the Royal cucumber sandwich today *sigh*
