Safari. I think it's actually more a problem with the computer (Powerbook G4, 1.5 GHz, 768 MB SDRAM) flipping out than the browser - especially since I had like 5 or 6 other applications running at the same time.
there's nothing wrong with those specs for that website.
it was just a flash app, which run perfectly fine on a G3, let alone a G4.
i've always felt the support for safari + flash = not that great. (that, and safari is also not the most stable of browsers, even though apple would like to claim as such)
you might want to give 'webkit' a try -- it's the guts of safari, but before the safari label is put onto it. webkit is also what the google chrome browser uses, and webkit itself is ported over from the KDE 'khtml' rendering engine, used in linux's KDE browser: Konqueror.
ANYWAY, since you already have safari installed, you can download a webkit nightly build here: http://nightly.webkit.org/
give it a try. see if you enjoy the much-faster speeds. :D
