ok wow, madonna: my favorites were definitely Like a Prayer (the arrangement, the screens, everything), Into the Groove, Music, Beat Goes On, Devil Wouldn't Recognize You (just a really strong vocal and really dramatic staging of it, i was impressed, didn't expect to like it that much), You Must Love Me, and Give It 2 Me. i could definitely do without the rock version of Hung Up, but almost all the old songs were totally reworked, some of which worked well and some which you just wished you could hear the original, like Vogue, though I will take that song in whatever form I can get it.
during the request section, she was reading a bunch of signs people were holding up with requests written on them and was like "Deeper and Deeper, Open Your Heart...Cherish? No, fuck that" and laughed. She ended up doing Express Yourself, which I guess she has done at a lot of other shows too. oh, she fell on her butt during one song, i think La Isla Bonita, but got up really quickly and laughed.
in terms of comparing it to Confessions (because that show is hard to beat in my book), i definitely think Confessions was a tighter, more cohesive show overall but this show is really much more of a party vibe and even though it's so obviously so tightly choreographed it feels looser and less serious in a good way.
