Life happens...
I have a new obsession... Naked Juice. Specifically, I love the Power-C and the Berry Blast. My days of buying Fresh Market Smoothies are over! Isn't it sad that this is the most important thing that I have to say?
The status quo is still my reality which isn't a bad thing. I did have a FABULOUS weekend, however. I went to ArtExpo NYC with my parents and saw Lindsey there which was a real treat :) Since my mom had her ankle surgery and she was able to walk this year, we were able to walk the entire length of the Javitz Center. My mom and dad are on a Tarkay kick as this is the second year that they've purchased one of his paintings. Last year, they bought a small original oil painting and this year they got a larger print proof lithograph. Their art collection is one of my favorite things about my mom and dad. The fact that they buy paintings together each year instead of anniversary gifts shows the egalitarian nature of their relationship. This summer will be their 30th wedding anniversary and I'm going to try to put together some sort of party for them.
I'm so proud of my brother. I know that might sound weird coming from me, but its true. He worked hard and landed a great job in Bergen County with a moderately sized company. He's working in their information technologies department which is something he's really good at and they're paying him a handsome salary.
My poor Domino had to go to the vet last week :( My mom called me to tell me that he was acting strangely and having GI problems so I rushed home from Drew and took him to the vet myself. The doctor did a blood test, took x-rays, felt for masses, gave him a distemper vaccination, and gave him an antihistamine shot. The doctos concluded, after extensive testing, that he's partially blind and has a heart murmur :( I have to bring him back to the vet over spring break so that he can have a sonogram of his heart. My POOR KITTY :(
