**UPDATE**
Well, it's been awhile since I've posted (thank you KAT for bringing this sin to my attention)...I suppose a lot has happened since the last time...I'm now only 6 weeks away from becoming the mother of another beautiful baby girl, Shaylin Rhenay...Rob and I are totally stoked about it - the three of us (Mikayster included) finished setting up the girls' room yesterday - it looks so cute...wish we could paint - stupid landlord...owell - guess we'll settle for yucky white and just decorate the hell out of it :) We got the crib up and Mikay's new bed set up - their room is in pastels (I'm using the same nursery decor that I had with Mikay - it's a pastel Noah's Ark theme - so cute - Brandi got it for me - Target rocks) - anyway, we have to get a new mobile though since Mikay thought it was something she could hang on & broke it. We also put up two of those corner "stuffy" nets to hold the hellacious amount of stuffed animals and dolls that used to COVER her bedroom floor. Plus their room has a huge shelf across the top of one of the walls so we put all her "laying" animals up there so it looks like they're hanging over the edge - very cute. We also threw her GIGANTIC Elmo, Care Bear, and Grizzly Bear up there since they take up so much room...then we re-converted the changing table (which Mikay has used for the past two years as her collection shelf with banks, photo albums, picture frames, & ((more)) stuffies). Now all that's left is the wall hangings, which I am holding off on for another week or so.
Mikay has to get her 2nd Hep A shot on Friday - this will be the first time taking her that I think she'll actually understand what's going on - I'm nervous about it - I hate seeing her upset - I promised her that I'd take her to feed the duckies at the park afterwards - she seemed content with that.
My sister (Cassie) & I threw my brother (Josh) a surprise 16th party on Saturday night. It was fun. My hubby had taken him shopping for his bday gift & I guess he was talking so much crap about how everyone acted like it wasn't even his bday or that they'd totally forgotten. I purposely had NOT called him to wish him a happy bday - I'm evil, I know. But his face when he walked in was priceless...you could tell he was SOOOO surprised...and happy. I don't really see him much now that I'm married and live away from "home", but he's a good kid and turning into a strapping young man...I still worry about him though...some of the people he chooses to hang around with make my stomach churn...but I guess the same could be said for my choice of "aquaintances" at one point...guess I just trust God to work in his life and that my hubby can be a good role model for him. Josh seems to like Rob and his company - which is good considering they're related now ;)
So, the girl that we hired about two months ago to take my place while I am on maternity leave - yah, SHE QUIT!!! Ugh, that b&%*$&^Fgreta(TR0754 - ugh, I'm leaving in 6 weeks - how the HELL am I supposed to train someone in 6 weeks when she'd been here for NINE and still didn't get the hang of it!!!!!!???????!!! I'm super stressed!!!!
Anyway, won't keep you - but I'll be keeping you updated on the baby situation :)
