Initial Thoughts Secret Garden
I'm currently watching Secret Garden starring Ha Ji Won and Hyun Bin. The drama had stirred interests in its inception period as Jang Hyuk of Chuno fame follow up drama but apparently agencies had a tug or war and Jang Hyuk opted out and was replaced by Hyun Bin. Anyway, reading plenty of theories over at soompi discussing the drama, I gave it a try and am up to episode 4, and I just can't get enough of it.
I have to acquiesce that there are plenty of things that excite me in this drama, the initial fan out of a lush garden with different foliages in the opening episode was truly beautiful. We get to meet Jo Woon (Hyun Bin) and Oska (Yoon Sang Hyeon) showing the rich, their rivalry between each other, as they try to up one another. Jo Woon finds himself to do Oska's bidding of persuading a broken love interest to relish Oska and through a curious twist of fate Jo Woon meets Ra Im, a stunt woman for a leading actress who happens to be the broken hearted love interest. Of course this results in miscommunications and comical situations before they realise that it was a mistake.
What I liked about it was Jo Woon being true to himself didn't fall for Ra Im on first sight but does later when he sees her doing her work, all serious and kick ass at that, so different from the person he was with earlier. Jo Woon finds himself thinking about her and conjures her up everywhere, in his house, going for a walk, dressed up in different getups, a first for him no doubt and he results to stalking her and joins up as a new recruit at the Action School.
