The fastest time that day was set by an old 1970s Porsche 911 completely stripped out of any excess weight. I hopped in it for a lap and it was incredible. All of the interior trim was gone, including the door handles; you had to pull on a strap to get out. The seats were lightweight racing seats with a 5-point belt and to get in you had to crawl over and under the crazy roll cage. Cornering, braking, and the incredible acceleration were handled in stride by HUGE 13-inch racing slicks in the rear.
I also rode along in a Nissan GT-R. Crazy performance.
