An Actual Job!

Haven't been posting much recently, and I haven't even officially mentioned important details yet, even though I've told various people now. But here's the news for all to see:

As of 23rd July, I will be moving to Frankfurt, Germany to work as a translator/proofreader for Nintendo!!

It's initially 6 months, but can be extended and potentially longer (provided I enjoy it, which I expect I will)! Also, flights to and from there are only an hour and a half, so actually journeys to London and such might even be quicker than having to go by train! At least it's not as far away as Japan I'll have to spend some time re-learning German!

Going to have some kind of psuedo-birthday at Paul's house on the weekend, as this house just isn't big enough XD;; I got about 7 different-coloured shirts for new job cause I hardly ever wear shirts, some horrible looking pyjamas which were returned, two cakes, and money XDD

I played through and finished Forbidden Siren 2, which improved in virtually every way on the original, and played through half of co-operative mode of Resident Evil 5 with Paul (it seems everybody's playing it these days XDD) on what we thought was the hardest difficulty, but as I just discovered there's an even harder one, he's going to play through it tonight so we can struggle horribly on the weekend >.>;;

Since I'm getting considerably well into the translation of Apathy Midnight Collection Volume 1 now, I'm considering building a fan site for it which might link details from the DS game together and such, and hopefully when all's done, include a patch for the game, provided I get permission. 15% doesn't seem like a lot, but there are some place the percentage will shoot up due to very short scenes.

I introduced my mum to Twitter, mainly for the reason of Aleksander Orlov, cause she loves the comparethemeerkat adverts XD;; I don't think she'll use it for anything else though.

That'll be all for now. I hope I get discounts on games!
