Hocus Pocus morning

Christmas has been a lot of fun. Issues with animal dander allergies cut short family time though. I am better able to breathe today, but still feeling a bit under the weather. Thankfully there are no allergens here.

Rats are adorable, as usual. Chessie was so excited to see mommy and daddy this morning. She was bouncing around like crazy. Rosie manages to contain her excitement a bit more. We have already had them out for some fun time. I really need to take pics of them when they stick their little noses out from the empty tissue boxes we have on the kitchen table for them.

We got a lot of nice Christmas presents. Plenty of cooking utensils that we can use, food storage items, skookie (Dattas loves those kind of cookies), Campbell's recipe cards, Barnes and Noble giftcards, moolah, funky socks, and a Happenings coupon book. Now that I think about it, a good portion of our gifts involved the kitchen or cooking. Works for me :D

That reminds me, I need to ask Dattas about putting up my tea set windchimes. I am not exactly sure where I want them, just in the kitchen or dining room. Probably a spot in which I can reach up and make them chime ^.^

I am hoping to enjoy some McDonald's today. I've been craving chicken nuggets for the past few days. Totally unhealthy, but I can't bring myself to care at the moment. I'm still making sure to relax (hence why I have Hocus Pocus on).

I finished up an awesome book about the history of Christmas carols. Or rather, the origin of some of the most well loved ones. It was very cool and interesting. Dattas was lucky I did not start singing them around the house. They've been running through my mind like crazy the past few nights. Silent Night was the one stuck in my head when I head to bed.
