Severe illness
Bleh....I have had a very evil cold for the past few days. It started out in the throat, then moved down, and is now just all over the place. I have had a fever off and on on top of that. I've been taking pain killers every 5 hours or so, which has helped me to be able to swallow without bursting into tears.
Of course, my husband set up a lot of hanging out at our house this weekend. I barely saw anyone on Saturday when we had several people come over. It was the worst of the illness, so I pretty much just lay in bed miserable while listening to the laughter in the other room. On Sunday, I was a little more active. I could talk again and I came out to get food. Dattas refused to go play frisbee and leave me alone at home, so I pulled out a blanket and an umbrella. We went over to a park where I camped out comfortably while the boys played.
Still feeling rather icky today. I am doing what things I can do without overworking myself. I can tell you now that the couch will probably be hosting a sleeping hatter in not that long. Skeeter, our leopard gecko, came out of her cave to rest with me too. Mushu, our bearded dragon, seems to think something is up too since I can hear her scratching at the glass. We have a towel covering it so she can relax.
