Lazy day

Or at least, it feels that way. Mu has been making some noises but I think she is as tired as I am. She seems to have given up on making me take her out of her cage. Instead, she is sulking in the back. I got to see Skeeter's head briefly last night. She was confused about why her humans were walking around in the dark. Nearly took her out, but was too tired.

My new class starts today - Quantitative Reasoning. Its a combination of stats, finance, and business. I finished up the chapters to read last night, so I need to bring in my laptop to work on the Excel problems today. They will hopefully have posted the syllabus on the site today. I am hoping that our assignments are more math based than discussion based. Unless said discussions are along the lines of "WTF is that?!" Well, maybe not exactly like that, but it would make it more enjoyable if that were allowed.

Getting close to the end of the Dresden Files first book. I am not quite sure how I can take the pauses in my reading. It manages to snare my mind entirely while reading it though. Additionally, I am having a great time reading the works of Moliere. Moliere wrote The Misanthrope, Tartuffe, and several other plays. He was a very good writer. I appreciate that in front of Tartuffe, the editor of my small collection included Moliere's appeals to the king and intro to the story. It caused a lot of havoc in France due to people feeling like they were being made a fool of. I agree with Moliere, if you are truly a man or woman of God, you would not be offended by the play. Only those who use their faith to get what they want are made fun of. I rather support it. Oddly, the king did too but he erred on the side of caution and sometimes banned said play.

books, plays, mushu the bearded dragon, dresden, moliere, mba, skeeter the leopard gecko, math
