His Lordship's Vet Visit
My mother hatter took in Amy to see the vet. Since Hammy also needed to go in for his six-month checkup, we had a double appointment with both the cat and the guinea piggie. Amy received more meds...Hammy was given a clean bill of health. I had thought that he was losing weight...turns out he gained a couple pounds...probably fat turning into muscle. He got rewarded with tons of pets and lovies. Hammy felt so relaxed on the way home that he swooned in his carrier a couple times. For those of you who aren't familiar with guinea pig behaviors: they only swoon when they are completely and utterly comfortable.
