[Yes it was! Though to be honest, another reason he didn't want to discuss it was that this was a pretty big deal. He didn't get most of it, but they were basically saying that something might happen in his world if he didn't return right? At the same time, he couldn't just abandon the friends he made here either. But what if something happens to his brother? Eh, he didn't trust whoever it was that sent the letter. He couldn't. So he just decided to go with what he thought was best. He knew more about the situation than he was letting on. As usual.]
