Nami didn't fully realise how much she'd missed Vivi until the Princess turned up on the beach in Luceti, and she's truly happy to see her again-- the two of them had been so close at home, and having Vivi back to share their days (and her bedroom) is almost like old times. While she loves all her crew, Vivi was her first female friend, and a woman who impressed her with her strength and determination in the face of such odds-- Nami can both relate and empathise, and she took as much comfort in Vivi's presence on the ship as she tried to give. Hell, she threw over the supposed reward money for delivering Vivi safely home, in the end. There's precious little Nami wouldn't do for her, and that's never changed.
But she's worried. The rest of them are used to Luceti now, and Vivi has come at a bad time, with their declaration of war against Yuber and Nu, and she has no idea whether Vivi has become stronger like the rest of them over time. The last thing she wants is for Vivi to get targeted by Yuber, which may well happen... yet she's not going to deny Vivi's right to stand by her crew, either. So Nami keeps her silence on that subject; she's gone far enough to nudge Vivi in the direction of the filials for added protection, but she'll leave it at that. And Vivi is both strong and smart-- and the Straw Hats will protect her like they protect all their own. They'll manage. And in the meantime, Nami has the chance to catch up with her and spend so many late nights up talking again... it helps. A lot.
