Above all else, above everyone, Luffy is the one Nami follows with all her heart. She trusts him completely. If he says it's going to be okay, then it's going to be okay. If he tells her he'll protect her, she'll believe him, and she'll rely on that. Leaving her his hat after Aku was the best thing he could have done, and if he hadn't taken her out on that "date", she might never have left her room again. Nami knows he'll always do everything he can, for all of them, and while sometimes she may think he's made the wrong decision, he's her captain and she'll abide by his final word.
He's also a brat and a child and the urge to smack him upside the head on a regular basis is definitely there, but over the time spent apart she's more inclined just to treat him with fond exasperation; it's Luffy and it makes her laugh and be happy in ways she never could before she met him. And by god, is she relieved that he survived Ace's death with that part of him intact.
She owes him everything, and they've all come a long way-- she wouldn't be proud to call herself a pirate unless Luffy was her captain, and she counts herself damn proud to be his navigator.
