[FFFF everyone is blowing up butterflies today. Casting a quick glance over her shoulder to ensure that was friendly fire. No pun intended]

Thanks, Alexei.

[Nature hates us today 8|. He nods, keeping the butterflies at bay while he prepares to cast another spell]

Any ideas where they all came from?

I'm guessing Kefka, myself. First the trees, now this? [Frying a couple more.]

[Sending out more fireballs] Possibly. Though I didn't know he was capable of controlling living creatures and in such a mass.

If they're living creatures in the first place and not magical. [Either is possible. Heck, they probably have butterflies like this at home somewhere.] I kind of hope it is him. How many more psychos do we need around here?

One too many. [...He kinda wants to catch one and study it. He knocks one down with the broad side of his sword and picks it up by the wings...yea totally forgetting there's still a few more butterflies to deal with]

[Oh, you wacky supervillain, did you never read the overlord handbook? Moving to cover your back and fry some butterflies out of the sky, voice ever so cheerful.] Take your time.

[Nope, he does things his own way. Crushing the one he had in hand, he returns to the fray, taking out a few more with fireballs. He had nothing to contain one at the moment and he wanted one alive]

Only have a few more.

[She ain't about to offer a jar, that's for sure.] There's just not enough to be a real threat. Just enough to keep them coming. And being annoying.

[But honestly, it's like ...stress relief or something. Or at least it will be until people start exploding.]

[It's a non-boredom zone here in Luceti] What they lack in strength they make up with numbers. May not be many, but if they keep coming like this, someone's going to make a mistake.

A few people already have. [Thinking back on Toboe's entry.] If I hadn't heard the warning on the journals I'd have let one of those things just land on me.

[Paranoia is a virtue.]

It's a brilliant idea to disguise a threat in something considered harmless. Though I'm speaking more about having to fight them overtime. Will they keep coming or is there actually a limit to them?

[...that's not a comforting thought.]

Point. ...this seems pretty underrated as a threat, given who lives here. Given that, I wonder if it's going to get worse somehow. Or maybe they're poisonous.

Have you been bitten by any of them?

Not me. But judging by some of the journal entries, there's a few people who have been.
