Not so long ago, my History/Social Studies teacher told me not to pursue my dream of visting Japan. The reason was that I would be head and shoulders over everybody. At the time I was around 5'9". That's the average height of women in the US. The point is, should I had been discouraged? No. I don't think so. All my life, I've been told to play:
A. Golf
B. Basketball.
Nobody has even consider the fact that I wanted to be a astronautical engineer. But they feel that I would be good in the world of sports. But my wishes were denined because I was tall. Is that fair? No. But still, I know how to play Golf, because that what my father wanted me to be.
