2007 IN REVIEW...
LOOKING BACK:
2007 Overall was a good year. I followed through on many goals. I am back in school. My first semester at Marist is complete. I earned a GPA of 3.92 which is phenomonal considering the amount of effort I put forward. I got on board with weight loss. Rounded out the dieting I started in Sept of 06 to loose a total of 90 pounds. I have even been told that people don't believe the pictures of me heavy are me....not the worst feeling ever. Let's see, I got out of retail...big win there. I started Benedictine which I still enjoy doing occasionally. Bigger win was working at NDP which so far I have no complaints about.
Downsides of 2007... I gained about 12 pounds during the last 2 months..not so great. I got way too involved in DRAMA at Empire. I worked wayyyy too much. Seems I keep forgetting to take time out for myself...oops! Death seems to be the pre-eminent theme with many funerals this year. Josh Gerry dying at age 24 from a brain anuerysm is just horrible. Way too many thoughts about mortality. I need to take my own advice that I am so good at giving.
Overall.... Need to touch on women. Not a up or downside. Year started off slow, with a few dates with a few girls. Spent the summer with an amazing girl. Whored myself out in the fall. Rounded the year out with the idea of casually dating. A lot of good came from the whole deal. An amazing friendship with Amanda, and what I hope no matter what turns into a strong friendship with Colleen. I totally lost focus in the weight loss realm. I allowed myself to get overworked...and sick not so great.
OKAY 2008:::
Let us see... resolutions:
1.) Get down to my goal weight its 200, that's 62 pounds to go.
2.) Be more active, gym, hiking, and biking...
3.) Continue to date casually, explore my options and surround myself with people I enjoy.
4.) Avoid situations that are obviously bad for me. I don't need other people's drama... I can find enough of my own.
