gray days

is it enough that i can imagine something better? would leaving be worth it? i hate gray answers. i need promises. without promises someone can do whatever they feel like without feeling guilty. at least with promises i'd have the satisfaction of knowing you feel bad for breaking them. at least i'd be able to hear in your voice that you're sorry for letting me down.
