Today, I feel rather honored. After linking to an article of his,
Conrad Gempf, a rather well known author concerning the first century Biblical setting, commented on
my blog, and has appaently been reading it for some time. It almost inspired me to finish writing one of my books. Perhaps when I have a bit more time - make no mistake though, I will write them.
He made a few books recommendations that I'm going to be checking out. I'm always up for more study. These books happen to be by an Orthodox Jew,
Abraham Joshua Heschel.
Also, I've been eyeballing Gempf's up and coming book, since I first heard of it. I have to wait until May, but knowing that he reads my blog makes the wait seem worth it.

Tomorrow morning, we leave for Dallas. It will be our first Thanksgiving with my sister-in-law's family, and her whole family at that. Nadine has never met any of them, though I at least shared one holiday with them about 8 years ago. So far, none of the other people we were hoping to visit have been available. If all else fails, I will actually get to spend a day experiencing Dallas, which I have never done. We also don't know where we're sleeping yet. I think we have tomorrow night covered, but the house we were going to stay at for Wednesday night got sold. And that will be the coldest night. This should be a fun week.
EDIT: We're rerouting through Waco, so we'll actually get to visit some people we haven't seen for over a year.
Today, I finish up 6 more beats to sell to Marco this week. Tonight, Nate and Adam are coming to our "Monday Night Thing." Dead Somber's recording is done and paid for, and it looks like I'll be running sound for their next couple of shows. They are really cool guys, and are promoting our studio like mad.
Now, to keep from rambling on about inane events, I bid you farewell.
