The artist will always connect and experience something when taking part in creating art. Art will reflect the artist. It will reflect thoughts like, "I'm bored." "Today is so cold." "I love you." "There is actually more to me than what I believe anyone will ever know." "Dude, I am so good at this."
Art is a messenger, and it delivers its message to the audience. The audience will respond, and sometimes the responses aren't so great. Sometimes the response is art as well.
