listening to hayden always makes me miss the mountains and forests. oregon is breath taking. i saw it when i helped my parents move from mississippi to corvallis, oregon. it was such a horrible trip, i missed sam so much and driving constantly was boring, and stressful. the midwest was the worst. i HATE the midwest. why anyone would want to live there is a fucking mystery to me. colorado *sigh*. colorado is my home. of all the places that i have lived, that is the one place that felt right. but...oregon has even colorado beat for most beautiful landscape.
listening to hayden and driving on a winding road through thick forest where the "sun keeps shooting through pine trees" and huge volcanic mountains tower above you is the BEST THING EVER. i hope that everyone gets to do it at least once.
oh yeah....the beaches were amazing too. gulf coast beaches could learn a thing or two from them.
