I need to figure out when I should start prepping/cooking for dinner. I really need to eat before 8pm. Ideally I would like to eat around 5:30pm. So I guess that means I need to start prepping at 4:30 or so (depending on the meal ( Read more... )

The thing that is most successful for us is deciding the night before and getting whatever out to thaw, then it's ready to go when Trevor gets home. However, we are sometimes very good at being lazy at getting takeout, even when we do have something thawed and ready. Having a good repertoire of stuff we make without having to think is good too- we can do about 15 or 20 different meals pretty much on autopilot.

I put most of our meals on cards on my computer and I think we are up to 63 main course meals.

Thawing is our big thing. I usually forget about it until it's meal time.

Do you use your computer in the evening or your phone? You could maybe set a reminder alarm? I don't know how useful that would be, but.

Dude, me too. I just took my meds an hour late again. I am going to put that into my google calendar right now!
