17. Your favorite memory, in great detail.

I have a number of memories that come to mind.

I guess the fondest one I have is one when I was somewhere between 4/5, my Mom and my Dad's best friend and I went out to lunch at a really nice restaurant. My Dad's best friend decided to get me a HUGE scoop of ice-cream for me and in Nepal, it's really a treat because they're really expensive. So I was really happy and sitting there, licking the ice-cream. Unfortunately, I only licked one side of it and of course, the ice-cream scoop fell to the floor. I was so upset that I started crying. No one offered to buy me a new one because it was so expensive. After lunch, we went to my Grandma's house and I was still very upset. When my Grandma asked me what was wrong, I remember lying on her bed, face down and crying and my Mom told her what had happened. My Grandma felt really bad so she gave my cousin some money and told him to go buy me some ice-cream (but a cheaper kind, tasted just as good but no where as decadent as the big ice-cream scoop). She got one for me, my cousin, my mom and herself and we sat there, the four of us, eating ice-cream. And it was a very nice, touching moment.
