My yearly tradition has happened again...

Hong Kong... what will these people think of next?
I swear all the strangest people go and be a part of this competition.

I remember one year where this 40 year old guy went and did it. I mean think about it. A 40 year old guy standing next to a bunch of at most 30 year old kids... the balance is quite off. I pitied him. But if I remember correctly... he was a firefighter... so... I suppose it wouldn't have been that bad that he lost.

This year a doctor went and decided to give it a try... his style =D
He was cute though... I think he sang an Indonesian love song. My aunt and I just called him the Indo prince (in chinese... sorry). Too bad he didn't win though.
The guy who did win is not quite what I would call handsome... but he can Latin dance... so I'm sold. There was a harp player and a whole lot of break dancing. I liked the harp player a lot.

Ah yes... come to think of it The Talent portion was actually really interesting... but what guys watch in pageants are also what we females watch for too. -say it with me girls- the swim suit portion.

This year... the contestants were... pretty buff I would say. Personally, I'm afraid of buff people. Oversized muscles have to be one of my larger fears. Everyone this year is pleasantly buff. No too much bulge in the arm area... and the occasional 6 pack is of course gladly welcomed.

So before I leave this wonderful piece of message I have a few questions
a) Would playing basketball count as a talent?
b) Which would you choose, harp playing or love song?
c) Who would get higher points: AWESOME break dancing or crappy singing?
d) If you won would you continue being a doctor?
e) Would you pay money to go see this?

I suppose you can't really call it a tradition
it's only happened for 5 years

tv, men, travel
