I get to work on and perfect the Mozart clarinet concerto in A in a week! I am just going to bring a sleeping bag with me to school from here on out, and live in a practice room until I get this thing D:. I'm sure I'll be okay, though! I don't have too much else to do...thankfully.
I'm enjoying orchestra so much more this semester! Ginwala let me take the solo at the beginning of Prokofiev today, and I got most people's approval :'D. This is so much better than last semester and me floundering through Britten and coming home every night ready to strangle either my first chair or myself, depending on how rehearsal went. This semester, I'm actually happy to go, and happy when I leave rehearsal. Most things school-related are going much better this semester, actually; home-roommate things could be better, but as my new favorite professor told me, it could always be worse. And right he is.
Back to making several thousand cranes and praying for this concerto to go well!
