When I read the story (
link) about Tom Brady acting as if losing a Super Bowl game is a good reason to be completely overcome with grief and shock, I'm reminded of a possibly apocryphal story of Wayne Gretzky. I've heard before that a reporter once posed a question in which he referred to the infamous Steve Smith "own goal" loss to Calgary as a tragedy. Gretzky corrected him by saying, "An 8 year old having cancer is a tragedy, this was still just a hockey game." I had never been much of a Gretzky fan until I heard that story.
