Firstly, and foremost:

sorry I wasn't here to at least do that, though I notice you've been just as MIA as me. hope you're good and your birthday was good and you got good stuff :D ILU LEMON DROP.
to my flist, thank you for the well wishes. it honestly couldn't have gone better. mum came with me to the hopsital, and we didn't have to sit around waiting for hours, it was thorough [the nurse, the anaesthetist, the physio, the surgeon all spoke to me beforehand], and the drugs were fun. it wasn't even like going to sleep. it was like closing my eyes and opening them back up. presto. done. i've had plenty of pain, but the surgeon prescribed drugs and i've managed.
so i'm on crutches for an unspeicifed amount of time [i'm managing them really well and i can do a lot more than i could even two days ago], i go back to the surgeon in two weeks to find out what exactly they did, and start my physio sessions back up to get moving again.
then in December, I'm off to QLD to see my brother and his family. so good news all round, really.
AND my Lucy Goosey sent me A Bit of Fry and Laurie, to cheer me up! i know i've thanked you, but thanks again Luce. you're precious.
Lastly, I notice that there's been a lot of Jensen-wank [AND NOT IN THE GOOD WAY, TSK TSK - seriously, though, WTF?] but all the support you guys have been showing him, and all the love you've been throwing back into the Jeniverse, totally makes up for it.
