omg omg omg. so. i basically spent the weekend writing RPS and watching Queer as Folk. Not Brian Kinney Queer as Folk - the UK version.
so, um. I'm in love. with this [despite the fact he's not the most photographic bloke in the world, and this was the best I could find]:
stuuaaaart. omggggg. when I was "into" QAF US it was mostly for Brian. This is the UK's equivalent of Brian, except he has an Irish accent. i'm not sure what it is the about the selfish whore who 'needs saving' that i love, but i really do. he's just. guuuh.
as for the series, major props. especially since the US one wouldn't be around without it. you know, I think I prefer most of the UK characters over the US ones. esp the UK equivalents of Justin and Michael. I mean, this is Nathan [equivalent of Justin]:
and okay,he was heaps younger than that during the show but still. hello. plus Justin was a little too whiny for me, I couldn't handle it. I prefer Nathan, and I like that it's Nathan helping Stuart and Vince [Michael] grow up while enjoying his own youth. i'm rambling but I think its great and hot and stuaaaart.
I'm watching Criminal Minds and Reid just told Elle [in reference to her attack[er]]: He's dead. You're right here. You won.
