+ and in recent news, I'm going to have surgery on my knee. originally, the idea didn't bother me. if it was going to be "ok this is the problem and having this surgery will be the answer" i think i'd be more content. except it's been presented more as "ok this is the problem and if you don't have surgery it probably won't be fixed and if you do it might not be fixed." it's like, leaving with nothing or seeing what's behind door number two. so that scares me. not getting back to 100% scares me. it's not the getting drugged and going to sleep for a few hours while people cut into me, part. it's the what comes after.
+ you may have noticed that I'm a little fond of Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki. Call me crazy. It's just that, when Jensen goes on holiday to Japan and buys them both matching Jinbeis; and Jared goes round set with a hot-glue gun and sticks shit together; and fangirls meet them on set and they talk about Jensen "crashing on Jared's couch" and Jensen calls Jared "big guy" and other stuff that alludes to gay sex, well. It's really kind of hard not to love them, you know?
Then Jensen appears at that Comic Con thing and busts out shit like this:
You know, after building a relationship, both on-camera and off-camera, with the guy that plays your brother on the show, and then have to play scenes in a room with him dead was very, very hard and emotional for me, and at the end of the day I just…I was completely spent.
I mean, give a girl a fucking break guys. Other slashers have to work at this. On a similar note, Jared couldn't make it to the con, for filming responsibilities [y'all keep talking about wank and I WANT TO SEE IT PLEASE?] and now I want fic where Jared is all "omg Jensen they all hate me, i keep missing these meetings" and Jensen is all "no they don't they love you just like i love you omg get over here and lets have sex."

+ For some strange reason I was overwhelmed by the urge to find Harry Potter art. I only got as far as ACCIO BRAIN, which is an awesome site. I just wanted to point you to THIS, which is art for Chapter Five of Half Blood Prince. The artist, Heather aka Makani, is going to illustrate all the chapters. One day. Anyway, scroll down to where she draws the bit with Ron saying there's no way anyone would choose Tonks over Fluer, and the girls getting huffy. There's a Harry and Ron moment that's fucking hilarious. I'm not sure if it's just me but I LOLed.
In other news, these are the hottest HP pairings RITE NOW. "AS/S. DUMBGRIN [copyright mooncharm]. LEAN OR DUNA OR LOVEMAS OR THOMGOOD. If you do not know to which and whom[who?] I am referring, you need to go back to the fandom. They have crazy for breakfast.
+ Saturday night we went to an 80's do, and I wore leather pants and shoulder pads and had really, really big hair [thanks megs ;)]. I just want to say that the 80's was fashion illiterate and NO THANKS. We then came back, and I played PlayStation with 40-50 year olds until 3 in the AM. My life just peaked, obviously.
