So I'm now a year older. I don't know why we make such a fuss of 21 here, but we do, and I had a party with 100+ people and not only was it a top night, but I scored some great stuff.

My brothers and 4yo nephew came down from interstate to celebrate it. The best part, though? My sister in law showed up about ten minutes before the party was starting with my brothers youngest, who is about 18months. It was a total surprise, and there was a lot of tears and squealing, I'll admit. I kinda had a three day birthday, what with people arriving and parties and stuff. So it was definitely one to remember.

As I told captain_lubey [to whom it was a great shock] I don't own the entire MASH series. I kinda just buy one every now and then, when I have the cash handy. Plus, we get cable, so I get to see a heap of episodes. I'm only one away now, however, so it's all good.

So I was watching S5 and The Most Unforgettable Characters and guess what? I have never seen it. Not once. Now that I have, it is probably up there with my all time favourites. This speech that Radar gives about BJ/Hawkeye is probably the main reason:

Radar: You guys fighting, it makes me sick. Don’t you know that I come in here, in the Swamp, to feel good, have a laugh? It’s ‘cause you two get along so good … its just you two guys are terrific the way you work together and laugh together and stick together. I mean I know you’re always fooling around but you’re always there when the other guy needs ya.

Frank: Now you’re just getting mushy.

Radar: No I’m not. A lot of guys in the army say they’re friends but these guys really are.

Guys ... I just. I mean. You want to talk about wiggle room. THERE IT IS. I love my show and my boys and Radar. Oh, Radar.
