I DON'T KNOW ART. BUT I KNOW WHAT I LIKE.

In other news, I've been watching a little queer cinema lately. I watched Were The World Mine and while the overarching theme was really not to my taste, the lead did a really, really good job with it. There were a few quiet, subtly funny moments that he aced, and he also had a lovely singing voice, and really sold it. So props for that.
I also watched Dog Tags, which was good, but it had the potential to be a lot better than what it was. At times I was like ... okay, random. And parts of the plot were just, too easy, if that makes sense. Again, the lead, or one of the leads, Paul Preiss, really carried the movie. Although, he does remind me of someone I used to know so I may be a little bias?
FIC REC: Next Man Up by timewillbe. It's an AU, and Jared is an up and coming football star and Jensen is a veteran. There's tension, but she doesn't abuse the cliche, in my mind. I know, I know, FOOTBALL PLAYERS? some of you might say. I don't like American Football, myself, but that is in the background of this relationship, and how friends become more and trying to figure out what to do with that. It was good.
Regarding the QUEST FOR BETTER HEALTH - loll, I'm so pathetic - I'm doing well. I'm able to push myself so much farther with my exercise, I'm still saying NO to so many things whilst enjoying what I like. I don't take weight and measurements until tomorrow. I've been naughty, and I've been obssessing about the scales, so I've given myself a little smack upside the head and said, HEY, JUST DO WHAT YOU DO, STOP WORRYING ABOUT THAT. So, yeah. Time will tell :D
