the good, the bad, the - whatever.
THINGS THAT GOT TO ME TODAY:
+ The rainbow I saw on the way home from work today. This isn't for any symbolic reason, beauty after rain, silver linings, etcetera etcetera. Just, it was a really pretty rainbow, every colour was distinct from the other. I always see AMAZING rainbows when I'm driving so I can't ~capture the moment~ Believe me, it was hot.
+ The phone call I got from my friend to say she booked our tickets to go see Harry Potter :D:D It just looks like it's going to be awesome.
+ The email I got from another friend, a male friend. We used to be really close, platonically speaking, really really close, but it all faded into nothing, he got himself a girlfriend, we spoke once in a while. Over the last 6 months, possibly more, I've been trying to reconnect, just because I miss him, and he's been skirting around the possiblity of catching up. So I sent him a pretty blunt message and he sent me an email back saying he did want to catch up, but, I don't know, it all seemed a little forced. He also said that his GF felt weird about the whole thing and he respects that, and I don't know.
I know we will never be what we were, which makes me really sad, and angry that our friendship didn't survive. I'm just. Sad about it.
+ A homophobic comment made by one of my co-workers. I expected more from her [strangely enough]. I told sunnny I want to tie all the homophobes up and read them gay porn. They just don't know what they're missing.
+ One of my other co-workers telling me that her boyfriend has all the SPN DVDs and they've been marthonning it and she was gushing about how beautiful Jensen was and that whenever he comes onto the TV she's all 'Lisa met him!' :D:D:D
