I decided that I'd share my thoughts on SPN before I read everybody elses. I have this weird thing where I start reading other people's ideas and I get all, YEAH, YEAH YOU'RE RIGHT and my opinion sways. I'm a sheep like that. Also, the title of this post has nothing to do with the episode, fear not.
The Good.
<3 FANDOM HAS ITS DAY. I mean, I know they were making fun of us, but they were also making fun of themselves. It was like some big communal wank and I fucking loved it. DeanGirls and SamGirls and Wincest. Just hearing them talk about it was equal parts hilarious and mortifying. I loved listening to that girl talk - SHE TOTES REFERENCED THE PHONE CALL DEAN MADE IN HOME AND OMG I'VE ALWAYS SAID THAT IS THE BEST SCENE - and how she's all 'my boys' hahah. It's like they're watching us, guys.
<3 The whole prophet arc. I dig it, guys. I also love that they used him to touch on subjects that are getting to fans, the whole 'Sam being unsympathetic' particularly. Also, that Dean KNOWS what the prophet says will be true but he still puts his bag down and refuses to leave Sam, even though he knows what Sam will probably do. That's IMPORTANT. They're still there, beneath it all. Sal and Dane.
<3 Dean and Castiel. I mean, not to be a broken record but I fucking love themm. I love Castiel. Many a time, throughout the episode, I'm all I WANT ONE. I just love everything he does now, I love how he's walking that tightrope, I love that he believes - and an angels belief is not to be snorted at - in Dean. I love that when Dean prays, Castiel comes. I love that, with Castiel's help [and, yes, Sam, when Sam finally realises his brother is tougher than he might seem], Dean could prove to be The Man To Save The World.
The Bad
<3 I suppose the only thing I could say would be that they totally ripped us off. Where is the fan fiction disclaimer, Kripke? If you posted that episode to a community it would not pass the moderators.

So, then, I decided there needs to be fic that involves Jared practising his demon-mojo face every morning and sunnny decided he practised while he was pumping weights. In the mirror, of course. When Jensen can see, taunt, imitate mockingly etc.
This day was a good day, people. I woke up before 8 as I tend to do BUT, I rolled back over and slept for TWO MORE HOURS. I am no logner cursed by my body clock. Take that. Anyway, so I went out shopping and bought easter eggs and clothes! SO many clothes. I still don't know what I'm wearing to SPN DAY though. It's only TWO WEEKS AWAY! Only 11 DAYS until SUNNNYPANTS!
Also, while we're on the subject, I'm really sick of RL people harshing my squee. I mean, I know you don't understand why I would pay this much money to see boys fucking around. I GET THAT. But, you know, I don't get why you spend that much money getting your hair done, or buying shoes, or getting drunk every weekend. DO I CARE WHAT YOU DO WITH YOUR TIME AND MONEY? NO. SO STOP HAVING AN OPINION ON MY LIFE, KTHNX. FUCK YOU ALL.
