DRAGON*CON... t-minus 1 week...
The countdown to Dragon*Con is officially ON. One week from now, I will be at the Kansas City airport, getting ready to board a plane to Atlanta. I am Teh Excite.
I know SEVERAL people on my f-list, particularly those from my beloved jim_and_bones community, will be there. So... who's coming? Who wants to meet up? Who wants to attend various Star Trek panels/events together as a group? Who wants to help me drink my extremely tasty bourbon?
I'm doing fewer costumes this year. I'm not bringing Frodo or Harry Potter. This year, costumes will include a TOS/AOS crossover uniform, and the AOS male cadet uniform. There will also be a crazy "Japanese-steampunk-time-travel" costume. I was going to have a Star Trek kimono (no, I'm not kidding), but there simply isn't enough time to make it for D*Con. I'll have it for the next convention.
