Well, what struck me as awesome here, is you got to the essence of Jim as a person, and showed that he's very compassionate. A lot of people overlook that. They always have.

And I think I will enjoy your other work. :D

People overlook a lot of the more subtle or profound aspects of Jim Kirk as a character. And yet those are the things that make him JIM KIRK as opposed to just another hot-shot fly-boy.
