we're on like day 6 of cold, wet, "slit-your-wrist grey" ass weather here in ATX. I NEED LIGHT IN MY LIFE!!!
sooo much going on right now. so much i would have never seen myself getting into a whole year ago. or hell, even six months ago. life takes some funny little turns, you know, but they usually work out for the best. unless you're a moron. which i pride myself in not being, hah.
so what's on my plate right now? the prospect of joining a sorority. finding the perfect apartment in west campus. preparing myself mentally and physically to spend the entire summer working my ass off in some (undisclosed) location up north somewhere. sounds shitty? it's going to be awesome. i'm going to make more money than i can even fathom right now.
i still want more. every day i want less rediculousness in life and more things of value. intellectual value, emotional value, monetary value, what have you. don't get me wrong...i'm still me, i still enjoy partying like a rock star; but that's just it. all things must come in moderation in order to be fully appreciated for what they are. balance...listen to me, i'm such a damned libra.
this weather is realling making it tempting to fall back in bed. but i have to go shoot a photo assignment. time to go spend some intimate time with my camera, which yes, i do have intimate feelings for.
