Hi!

Menimi already released their sub of Watashi wo Hanasanaide, so I was wondering, should we (SFC) continue our sub? I already finish my part of ep2 (jap-ina), and now Rifda is doing hers; which I think it would be a waste if we don't release it; but from third episode forward, should we drop it?[Update 2/1

You should do whatever feels right for you; if you ask us (as in us, the audience that watches it) I don't think anyone will say "no" to anyone that is subbing something- personally I enjoyed your subtitles and the little notes you enclosed to explain things. But if you don't want to continue, that is completely up to you, obviously!

p.s Shuhei rocks, love him in his new role in Fragile, he's adorably broody!

(btw, I did a review on the first episode of Never Let Me Go on my blog, and in the end I credited the SFC for the subs- should I instead switch it to miitla? It's because I saw your subs post on your personal journal first)

ps: IKR!!!!! I read something from the drama site, that Morii should be someone who actually kinda cool, but Shuhei potrayed it too cute but I can't even complain XD

SFC sounds like a (football) team so I'd say myself it's pretty cool!

I actually wasn't much aware of Shuhei, I mostly saw him on Koinaka (didn't enjoy it much I'll say/ and I haven't watched Hours of my Life yet, that will depress me I am sure!) and then I saw he was dating Kiko, and I was like "ohhh, he's THAT guy, yeah!"

But I would say that his role in Fragile fits him, he seems to enjoy working with Nagase (who doesn't!) and Takei so it's nice to see!

Sstt, lemme tell you a little-(not-so)-secret. Shuhei loves BMX, Nagase loves bikes. Their hobbies match. That's why!

This is exactly why we're using SFC as our name! Shuhei is too connected with Haruma! I mean, brothers for Boku no Ita Jikan. Also Kiko. LOL

But both on the same year! 1993! Sota was born earlier, tho. (((Or should I say, Sota has an old face??))))
I can't wait to see Litchi, too. He get the role without casting. The producer said it must be him to play it. Feels like a proud mama, here XD

He got it without casting? I wasn't aware of that- great for him to be able to get roles without auditioning haha (he good though, and he's improving quite fast!)

Yepyep. The movie wasnt as funny and stupid as the original anime, tho. But still made me laugh a lot!

I watched the movie long time a go, yet haven't read the novel; but Rifda did! That's why she's so detail with the notes for the sub. She said the movie didnt do the justice so she hope this drama will do better~

I don't think a movie/drama can ever beat the anime version, I mean, yeah..lol

oh Tori is my bias for this year, after his amazing performane in Siren! I even had to remove my beloved Gakky avatar solely for him, but he deserves it! (he has earned his spot in my top-5 with Kimutaku, Okada Masaki, Odagiri Joe + Shun Oguri...how predictable choices!)

Ahh, okay I get it- yeah the notes definitely helped a lot, as the first episode was already confusing enough! I'm looking forward to see Kyoko and Tomo as grown ups, I wonder if Tomo dumped Kyoko (ASSHOLE if he did it!)

Okay, this has gone too long XD

I read the novel and watched the movie, but I can't tell you what will happen to Tomo and Kyoko because I don't want to spoil anything :p Moreover, there has been some (little) differences between the novel and this drama, so I don't know how the scriptwriter will twist their (Kyoko, Miwa, and Tomo) friendship.

P.S. I also like Tori in Siren, and glad you like Shuhei ^^

Ah crap, I'M THIS CLOSE to wanting to get spoiled but the only thing I know (and it rather evident from the melacholy that surrounds the series!) is that the ending isn't gonna be a "happily ever after!", so I'm hanging in there for now. I've read an Ishiguro novel not long ago, and I will definitely pick up Never Let me Go after the drama ends. (..maybe I will pick it earlier actually!) He's a great author.
