Wish I was at the beach. Or New Orleans. Anywhere but work, actually.

It's mid-May.
October cannot come soon enough.
A bit of clarification, you say? Easy to do: late October holds in its yet-to-arrive arms a glorious meeting of like-minded people, in the heart of the Big Easy. Indeed, seldom does such a gathering occur, and it is heralded with much anticipation by those who are aware of its ramifications. Just before Halloween of 2003, New Orleans will host the first-ever meeting of all three members of the original Smutsister Trinity of Shadowmarch.
Quiet wagers are being placed as to the details of this meeting. For example: the number of city blocks that will cease to be when that particular portion of reality implodes (or states, if the reaction is powerful enough); the time elapsed before the fabric of time/space frays and shreds into nothingness; what countries will feel the shock of said implosion...

...the list goes on.
For myself, as one member of those original three... I cannot wait. New Orleans calls to me; in all seriousness, I feel that meeting will be a defining point in many of my friendships. Not only will the Trinity converge upon one point in space and time, but I will meet so many others that I have come to consider friends over the last couple of years! People I have developed a great fondness for, despite the lack of face-to-face contact. People that I consider -family-.
This promises to be an event to remember. And I am utterly thrilled.
