It's been a while since I last posted an entry.. This is mainly because I didn't find any free time. So many things have happened since China. The most important thing though is that I'm back home safely again. (I'd rather not say.. however this should be remembered: at the last night I had an encounter with the security guy.. and he came to my hotelroom.. I'm glad nothing terrible happened.. but his intentions weren't what I had in mind. Even the next morning when I had to catch the plane, he was waiting for me at 5 AM.. I literally jumped into the cab and drove off)
After China, I had 4 days of recovering from the jet lag. I flew off to France to meet with a friend I once met in Stockholm. She was too kind to invite me over for her birthday. We had kept contact by mail, written mail. So I flew there all alone.. they met me at the airport and we waited for yet another friend of hers who came over from England. Just then when we were sitting in their car I learned she had a brother who flies plains. He already mastered flying quite some types..
France is a beautiful country, I just can't forget the week I spend there. I remember sitting in the car whilst we ascended the mountains. The house of Mali's family has a surreal view.. truly a panoramic view on the valey.. it is soooo amazing, it just looks like an enormous poster.. so fascinating! And there at the door we were greeted by Mali's dad and gorgeous brother. Pwuu~ and like the French, greeted by 3 kisses on the cheeks. *blushes*
We had a great time. the first following day we went to the beach.. He lay down next to me and he did my back with sunscreen. He also accompanied me after a swim.. my my, I'm not used to swim distances so I walked for a bit. Mali did not want to leave me behind so she sent her bro to accompany me. We started talking for a bit.. How we met and so.. nothing personal.
The next day he stayed at home and it was just Mali, her mom, Ro and me.. we went for a practiseround climbing the mountains. I'm not really used to climbing mountains. My family never went camping, and when we happen to cross mountains we take the car. So I was mostly struggling to keep up. I also wasn't really wearing professional gear.. These are really expensive.. and as I won't be climbing it felt unnessecary to buy the gear. It was great, so much fresh air and wild flowers. We even managed to spot marmots, big beaver-like animals. Even though it was amazing.. I got sun stroke.
I only realised that later on. I felt bad and I couldn't sleep, I was in their kitchen looking for tea.. which I couldn't find.. so i asked him.. he was staying up, playing games (all the others went to bed at 11PM goshh,, to me that's early..during holiday..) He made me a cup of tea and I sat beside him watching him play.. I don't mind games.. I actually like them, I also have consoles ;p After the tea I went back upstairs and he accompanied me on the stairs, asked wether I needed anything else and wished me good night when I denied.
True gentleman...~~
