Abacus Update
I just sat down to do Abacus homework with YX. She took 15 minutes to finish all her work.. not bad! This one involves calculating using the abacus. She found it cumbersome to use the abacus.. So she decided to use a mental abacus. I was surprised to see her fingers moving on an imaginery abacus and all her answers were correct!
I am not sure if she should actually be doing the work with an imaginery abacus at this stage, as I think one of the objective is to practice her fingering on the abacus.. but i am MIGHTY proud of her work!!
