shivering.
heart being squeezed;
making worse
an already bruised heart.
pain inside, outside.
tears fall, wanting a way out.
singing, choking back sobs.
confused. skeptical.
broken. faithless.
no road left to travel.
no one left to turn to.
no one can help.
tried; tried so hard
for people to help.
never worked,
never healed.
soul inside dying slowly.
too slowly;
it's too painful.
will I be wrong,
or will I be gone?
