School was fun today!
We worked on our Rube Goldberg projects today. You're prolly all thinking "WTF is a Rube Goldberg?!" Well, Rube Goldberg was an inventor who accomplished simple tasks in complicating ways. The entire 8th grade is doing this. We all got assigned partners, all from different classes, and we hafta make a complicated machine to accomplish a simple task. My group is me, Katie, and Ashley, and I absolutely HATE HATE HATE Ashley. Wanna know why? Because ever since I wasn't allowed to hang with Sam, she's been hanging out with her nonstop. And, every math class, she stares me down, waits till I sit, and when I do, she always goes, "So Sam, you're coming over my house this weekend, right?" Just to rub it in my face. I hate her. And, during the project, she calls all my ideas stupid, and calls me an idiot.
We watched "Miracle" in social studies. It was really boring, cause it's about hockey and I don't like any sports besides Soccer. I was like falling asleep during class!
This morning, we had an assembly in the gym. Mr. Gunter's band played "Run Run Rudolph", and another sing that I didn't catch the title. They were good, except they were really loud. Then, Mrs. Bowen's 6th grade class did two X-mas plays on the stage. They did "A Christmas Carol" and "Little Cosette and Father Christmas". They were good, except they were quiet. Plus, my class sat in the back row until Mrs. Schoppe said we could move up a few rows.
Anyway, my baby sister is visiting with my daddy and step-mom, so I gotta go! Byez!
