you make good points katrina, and essentially i agree with them.

but i think that there is a fine line between ranting on livejournal, or venting to friends, and how i actually want to live my life.

i am a very exagerrative person. so i often hyperbolize what i want to say in order to get my point across. would i say these things to strangers? nah. would i say these things to people who know my priorities? yeah. it's like saying "i hate my sister". but everyone knows deep down that you love her.

but you are right about white guilt. and in situations where i can see thats a factor, i am sensitive to it. but sometimes people just need to piss and moan and get over it.
