What a fan should be like + other random chitchat
Currently waiting for the NewS DVD to finish downloading. I am down to the last two parts of the one with Ryo's solo "code" and suddenly, the links died on me. Boo~ that performance has been playing on and on inside my head for days and I just NEED it in my computer for easy access. I hate that I can't buy the dvd and drool all over the parts with ryo in it because I dont have my own credit card. It's such a hassle to ask my parents, they will probably make a fuss about it. BUT, I can feel the urge to do it coming soon.
I was browsing around life's good translations and I came across this article about NewS in Popolo: 66 rules to love NEWS and more! Each member had to give their own set of 10 rules or guidelines for NewS' fans, and I cant resist commenting on Ryo's weird entry, LOL.

- well Ryo-kun, this one is easy enough to follow, because I am a loyal fan of your strange charisma from the moment I decided to become a NewS' supporter. Although I have to admit my first love in the jpop world was Yamapi, no one can resist the sexy man from Osaka so I had to let him go.
2. When on TV they say “And with here’s the next news” you automatically react
- LOL. I can just imagine that. Never happened to me before, I don't really watch the tv that much these past few days. But you know, I think that's actually quite possible with me because I absolutely see them everywhere I go.
3. You buy our CDs
- easy as well. When I get rich, I plan on buying all stuff related to NewS and Ryo *____*
4. You come to our concerts
- if only I don't need a visa to go to Japan. If I live in Japan, I don't care which part I live in I'd still attend the concert! But sadly, I think this is the one thing that won't be happening anytime soon, unless they decide to come to our country instead!! Oh how I wish the JE convention plan work!!! Anyway, does screaming, dancing, and singing along to videos on the internet substitute to actually going?
5. You come to the concerts as if you have traveled a long way
- I think that's generally how I'd look if I decide to attend their concert because it is TOO FAR AWAY, like several countries apart and completely different timezones Ryo! He wants to see his fans all sweaty and breathless when they approach him, I think I can do that XD >_<
6. You think about us three times a day
*My routine ever since weeeek and pacific were released*
- 9 am: wake up, grab my phone, open my playlist to listen to Ai Nante, Code, Weeeek, Hoshi no Mezashite, and Alibi.
- 11 am: make Ryo/NewS icons, screencaps, banner, wallpaper. sometimes, I watch videos, performances, shows, and dramas with the NewS members on it.
- 12 pm: listen to pacific
- 1:30: leave house to go to my patient
- 4 pm: arrive back at our house, listen to the cd again
- 7 pm: check forums, jweb, LJ community for news, latest performances, schedule
so yeah, I think I got this one covered XD
7. You can say the coupling of songs on NEWS’ CDs
- Hmm, I didn't really understand this one, I'm so lame!. But if he means I can sing Why, Rainbow, and With you then I do! Although I can't understand most of what the lyrics were about, I am in the process of memorizing the romaji and writing them in hiragana.
8. You like NEWS.
- ROFL. I think he wrote this one a little too late in the list...But yes, I do like NewS!
9. You like Johnny’s.
- Definitely! I got into the world of jpop because of JE and so far, have no plans of losing interest. JE's got a firm hold on me.
10. You like boys.
- What's this got to do with anything? ROFL. I love gorgeous men...and let me tell you, I like them thin with a little bit of muscle. I love a dancer's body, really...I think that's my fetish. I guess this is why I like JE, they have amazing dancers >_<

At the end, I couldn’t really come up with anything good. Sorry (lol). Reacting to “Here’s the next news” is being sensitive to the word “news”. Also, “you can say the couplings” is amazing isn’t it. It’s suspicious, but can I also remember them all? (lol). But, though I gave you a variety of questions, if you principally follow them and give NEWS love than that’s good I think. I mean, the feeling of love isn’t free, right! - so THAT'S what he meant with coupling! uh sorry, I cant remember them all T__T I suck as a fan, gomen ne Ryo-kun....hmm, the feeling of love isn't free...do you mean the amount of cash I spent buying cds and attending concerts? LOL. You got that right, loving you is such an expensive thing to do...but I think it's all worth it~ these guys are too awesome to resist~*

You can’t understand “YOSHITE”?
There are times when I really speak in Kansai-ben and my meaning isn’t understood. “YOSHITE” means “NAKAMA NI IRETE”*, if you don’t understand I’ll be lonely!
SNIFF!!! he said he'd be lonely! I have no choice but to learn his dialect as well. Talk about complicated love~! hahaha! I have to learn Kanji and japanese grammar first though. T__T
That was a fun thing to read XD I think this was posted a long time ago and I'm way behind...still, they're interesting. The other members' answers were funny too! I will probably post the rest next time and comment on them as well, when I get over this feeling of laziness...^_^

Last week, pop group NEWS simultaneously released their 7th single and 2nd album. Both releases made it to the top of the charts, with their single "weeeek" selling 263,000 copies and their album "pacific" selling 196,000 copies.
This is the 10th time in Oricon history that an artist has been #1 on both charts, with the last occurrence achieved by KAT-TUN in April 2006. The only other artists to accomplish the feat are SMAP, KinKi Kids, Masaharu Fukuyama, Ayumi Hamasaki, WANDS, and Seiko Matsuda.

"Sugata Sanshirou" Crack in!
The drama SP "Sugata Sanshirou" (Channel TV Tokyo) in which Kato Shigeaki plays the lead role has cracked-in in Miura, Kanagawa Prefecture. The filming started with the scene when Sanshirou (Kato) and the heroine Itsumi (Motokariya Yuika) meet for the first time. Kato-kun says Sanshirou, who is someone with very pure feelings, will continue to have a fast beating heart from Itsumi's casual kindness! (credits:heroismine [news_jpop], translated by ryu_no_sora)
I have no idea how many times I've said this already, but I'm really happy and proud of them! Both the album and single are doing well, this is a really good beginning for their journey. I wonder if Ryo's still thinking of leaving the group by the end of the year...
