It sucks like this
So this lowering of the 22p tax to 20p and taking away the 10p threshold means I now pay £8 more tax on my basic pay PER WEEK! It's all very well making headlines but taxing the lowest earners more isn't particularly fair. People in the 40p threshold aren't really affected by this I don't think. Unless they get more? I dunno. Haven't payed enough attention to the news. Rubbish. So 8 x 52... So that's £416 per year more tax on basic pay. Nearly two weeks wages. So ok, we can claim it back, but I doubt they'll pay me £416 + interest do you? And I hate to think how many people won't claim back what they've lost out on either. Bastard government.
Gonna go for a ride in a mo. Still running the bike in so you're not suppost to go over like, 4000 revs for 600miles or something. That's not even 70mph in 6th. So I've been allowing 5000.. Or 6000..
Really tired this week. Apparently I did 62 hours last week. So I cut back and did 58. Blah. Shower or ride? Been learning how to bleed a diesel engine today. Messy business. And discussing diesel bikes. Why? I dunno.
The sun makes me wanna over indulge in pop punk. Guess it reminds me of being 13/14 and buying my first Green Day album, Nimrod. What an amazing album that is.
Really must get some jobs done this weekend, extra day and all. I'm looking forward to a lie in tomorrow woo. And Monday. Woo woo. I want to be in a band..
